Green beans are fresh, delicious and so versatile they are the perfect side dish to compliment any dinner. Here is an amazing, easy, and quick way I always make my garlic green beans.
Ingredients:
-green beans
-garlic
-butter
-olive oil
-s&p

Wash and trim ends of green beans.
In a small pot (3qt) bring water to a boil. Drop green beans into boiling water to blanch for 3 minutes. Drain and run under cold water.
In a large skillet, melt 2 tbs butter and 1 teaspoon olive oil. Add minced garlic saute until fragrant about 2-3 minutes.
Toss in green beans, add the remaining 2 tablespoon butter and salt and pepper. toss until all beans are coated with butter and garlic.
Enjoy as a side dish with fish, chicken or steak.

-Use a high concentration of salt in blanching water 2 tablespoons per quart of water.

- 1 lbs green beans
- 4-5 garlic cloves
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ΒΌ tsp ground black pepper
