Sometimes the simplest and easiest recipes taste the best. This baked salmon is a winner, for a fast and easy dinner. Takes a total of 5 minutes to prep and 15 minutes to bake can't get any easier than that. The flavor turns out amazing, as the garlic butter melts and is infused into the salmon. The only way to mess up this recipe is to overcook the salmon. The key is high heat and quick timing.

Ingredients:

-Salmon filet
-softened butter
-garlic
-lemon
-salt & pepper

Instructions on how to make this baked salmon perfect!

Start by preheating your oven to 450F.
Pat down salmon with paper towel and season with salt and pepper, set aside while you make garlic butter.

How to make garlic butter?

Make sure your butter is softened. Then clean your garlic cloves and mince and add into the softened butter. Then chop up some fresh dill finely and also add to the butter. Finally add a squeeze of lemon juice.THen Using a fork mash together the softened butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped dill until well incorporated.

Spread butter over salmon and place it into the preheated oven for 15 minutes (if your salmon is thicker cook up to 20 minutes. Check with a fork in the thickest part of the salmon, it should easily flake.)

Take out of the oven and serve with your favorite side dish.
