Wipe down salmon and season with salt and pepper, set aside while you make garlic butter.
With a fork mash together the butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and chopped dill until well incorporated.
Spread butter over salmon and place it into the preheated oven for 15 minutes (if your salmon is thicker cook up to 20 minutes. Check with a fork in the thickest part of the salmon, it should easily flake.)
Take out of the oven and serve with your favorite side dish.
