This Caesar wedge salad has every thing you want from a salad fresh, delicious and easy to make. This salad is so easy that its embarrassing to even call it a recipe, but I had to share because its SO good we have been making it at least once a week. I love how its looks so perfect on a dinner table spread, so elegant and put together but in actuality its even easier than a regular Caesar salad.
Ingredients needed to make Caesar wedge salad:
Instructions on how too assemble your wedge salad:
Wash romaine lettuce heads making sure the inside gets clean and place upside down for water to drain while you prep other ingredients.
Chop and dice toppings: bacon, tomatoes, and crush croutons.
Trim off the the bottom core of the lettuce but don't remove it completely because that's what holds the lettuce together. Then and cut the heads into quarters lengthwise and lay out onto a serving plate. Then generously drizzle with Caesar dressing my favorite is Girard's. Next top with tomatoes, bacon, crushed croutons and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
