How to stuff your toast?
Slice bread in 1 inch thick slices, cuting a slit down the center but not cutting all the way through. Fill each slit of bread slice with 1 tablespoon of nutella and lightly press to close.
Mixing your French toast batter.
In a mixing bowl beat 2 eggs with a whisk until frothy. Then pour in β
cup of milk while continuing to whisk.
Lastly add in the rest of the ingredients ΒΌ teaspoon of cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and a pinch of salt and whisk until combined.
Preheat a nonstick pan on medium heat and add a teaspoon of coconut oil. Dip nutella stuffed bread slice into egg and milk mixture and coat on both sides. Let excess batter pour off the bread and place on pan to cook on both sides about 3 minutes each or until crisp golden brown on both sides.
Serve topped with fresh berries or as is with your favorite beverage.
