EASY PIZZA DOUGH RECIPE

Everyone needs to have a pizza dough recipe it's a cookbook staple. This recipe is super simple to put together and tastes perfect. For an easy dinner make the dough and have your family put together the rest.

Pizza Dough Ingredients:

-water
-oil
-sugar
-salt
-yeast
-flour

1. Activate yeast- Pour warm water (about 110°F) into a bowl add sugar and salt and sprinkle with yeast. Let activate for about 7 minutes.
2. Into the bowl of an electric mixer, add activated yeast, 2 tablespoon of oil, and flour. Adding 1 cup at a time after all flour is incorporated add the remaining 2 tablespoon of oil and let knead for about 8 minutes. Knead dough until it forms a ball and no longer sticks to the walls of the bowl.
3. Let rise in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours. This pizza dough can last up to 5 days.
4. When the dough has doubled in size. Invert pizza dough onto the oiled countertop surface and using a rolling pin roll out dough to about ½ inch thickness and shape to your pan size. (if you don't have a pizza pan use a cookie sheet and make a square pizza for a fun change or make a few personal pizzas)
5. Prepare your topping and cheese and pizza sauce. Top pizza in the following order: sauce, cheese, toppings, and finish off with a little more cheese.

How long to bake for?

Bake at a high temperature of 475F for 15 minutes or until all cheese is melted and the pizza crust is golden brown.

How long can I store ready dough?

Refrigerator- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Freezer- 3 months in an airtight container or gallon freezer ziplock bag.
