This crispy french onion chicken goes well with my DUCHESS POTATO CASSEROLE recipe and with GARLIC GREEN BEANS as a side.
Recipe Tips:
-You can season chicken with your favorite seasoning just remember if you are using a salt-free
seasoning to add a teaspoon of salt.
-This recipe also works very well with chicken tenderloins.
-If you don't have the time you don't need to roll chicken strips into rolls you can just lay them flat. The rolls just make the presentation better.
-If making ahead of time don't add the crispy onion topping until you are ready to bake.
Best eaten the same day as the crispy onions will soften. If you would like to prepare this recipe ahead of time, have the chicken marinated, and set up in the deep dish with mayo/cheese topping, but add the crispy onions right before baking.
