BBQ Smoked Turkey Sandwich

If you're a fan of smoky, savory goodness, you're in for a treat with our Smoked BBQ Turkey Sandwich. This delicious sandwich combines perfectly smoked turkey with tangy BBQ sauce, sandwiched between your favorite bread.

Equipment

  • 1 Airtight container
  • 1 meat shredder

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Shredded smoked Turkey
  • ½ cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 cups Coleslaw
  • ½ cup sliced pickles
  • 6 Brioche Buns
  • 6 tablespoon Garlic Aioli

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the Turkey: Shred Turkey either leftover or freshly cooked and top with ½ cup of BBQ sauce into a skillet and heat thoroughly until the sauce is evenly coated on all the turkey meat.
  • Prep sandwich fillings: Make the Crunchy coleslaw by shredding the cabbage and carrots then make the coleslaw dressing by combining: ½ cup of Mayo, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 2 teaspoon sugar, 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
  • Assemble shredded turkey sandwiches: Toast the buns or bread and top with Garlicky Aioli then on one side add pickle slices and the creamy coleslaw and on the other side the BBQ shredded turkey.
  • Top the meat with extra BBQ sauce and close the sandwich to Enjoy!

Notes

Substitutions and Variations:

  • Turkey- Can be substituted with other proteins such as Chicken, pork, and Beef. Works with leftovers or made from scratch. Also, you can substitute with deli turkey sandwich meat.
  • Burger Buns- If after Thanksgiving you have extra dinner rolls such as our Garlic knots use those to make sliders.
  • Garlic Aioli- If you prefer a more mild flavor use our Homemade Mayonnaise recipe.
