Substitutions and Variations
- Cottage cheese- Can be substituted with Farmer cheese if you have access but then add 1-2 tablespoon of sour cream so that it will cream together.
- Herbs- Feel free to add other herbs. Another herb that would work well is dill. Chop up and add in with green onions.
Feel free to customize the ingredients to your preference. Some other great additions would be chicken, spinach, and or parmesan cheese.
Instead of baking in the oven, you can also fry on a skillet. Just make sure to coat both sides of the lavash in the egg wash.
