1 Bread knife
1 Cutting Board
1 spoon or cheese knife
- 2 bread rolls
- 2-4 burrata cheese balls
- 3 oz prosciutto
- 1 tomato
- 2 cups arugula
- 4 tablespoon mayonnaise
- balsamic glaze for drizzle
Cut open the bread roll then spread mayonnaise on both sides and spoon on a burrata cheese ball and tear it open I used 2 Burrata balls for this sandwich and topped the other side with all ruffled prosciutto slices.
Add toppings, a handful of arugula, and sliced tomatoes. To finish off drizzle the sandwich filling and toppings with balsamic glaze. Close the sandwich and enjoy!
Recipe Substitutions:
- Burrata- Can be substituted with Brie to make it a brie and prosciutto sandwich. It will be best to test the sandwich in this case.
- Bread- can be substituted with ciabatta bread or artisanal bread from the grocery store.
- Arugula - Can be replaced with spinach or mixed greens for a different flavor profile
