TILAPIA WITH CREAM SAUCE

Flakey tilapia with a creamy sauce that consists of caramelized vegetables. This tilapia with cream sauce is an easy and tasty meal that comes together in under 30 minutes.
- 5-6 Tilapia fillets
- 2 carrots
- 1 medium onion
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- S&P to taste
Rinse tilapia fillets and pat dry with paper towel. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice and drizzle with olive oil.
Heat a pan on medium heat and drizzle oil and fry tilapia filets until golden and crisp on the outside.
Prepare veggies by peeling onion, and dice. Then peel carrots and grate then dice bell pepper. Once all veggies are chopped reheat same skillet and fry veggies until caramelized.
Move caramelized veggies to the side and add in sautéed fish and top with veggies.
Pour cream over fish and veggies and let it come to a simmer. Once fish flakes about 5-7 minutes.
Add your favorite herbs of choice and serve over grains or pasta.
