CREAMY GREEN BEAN SKILLET

Green beans with a luscious creamy garlic sauce. The green beans are crisp and the sauce is garlicky goodness.
- 2 lbs green beans
- 5 garlic cloves
- 1 onion
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup white wine
- parmesan cheese
- S&P to taste
Trim ends on green beans Parboil green beans in a high concentration of salt 2 tbs of salt per quart of water. The high content of salt will make the green beans crisp and not overcooked.
Boil green beans for 8 minuts and then drain and flush them with cold water.
Chop up 1 onion and saute in skillet on medium heat until caramelized. Then add in 5 minced garlic cloves saute until fragrant.
To make the creamy sauce pour in ½ cup wine and cook into a reduction should be about 3 minutes. Then add 1 cup of heavy cream and let it come to a light simmer.
Top with fresh grated parmesan cheese and enjoy as a side dish to a variety of meals.
