This Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta recipe is easy and quick enough for a weeknight dinner, yet fancy and tasty enough for company.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb raw shrimp
  • 5-6 garlic clove minced
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • salt and pepper
  • lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Marinate shrimp with salt and pepper and a squirt of lemon juice set aside for about 5-10 minutes.
  • Sauté shrimp on medium heat in a non-stick skillet on both sides until light pink set aside in bowl while you prepare the creamy alfredo sauce.
  • In a preheated skillet on medium heat add 5-6 cloves of minced garlic cloves and saute until fragrant. Then pour in 1 cup white wine *see notes for substitution* and let simmer until a reduction about 3-4 minutes, the wine should slightly thicken.
  • Pour in 2 cups of heavy cream and let the sauce come to a simmer. Mix in grated parmesan cheese and turn off heat. Lastly add in cooked shrimp and season with a little extra pepper as needed.
  • Cook pasta in pot according to package instructions.
  • Assemble pasta dish with cooked pasta and top with creamy shrimp alfredo and enjoy!
