PROSCIUTTO CROSTINI MELTS

This prosciutto crostini melt consist of fresh melted mozzarella cheese topped with prosciutto that crisps up so nicely in the oven. Finished off with a balsamic which completes this tasty crostini melt.

Equipment

  • baking sheet

Ingredients
  

  • ½ lb fresh mozorella
  • 3 oz prosciutto
  • 13 baguette slices
  • balsamic glaze for drizzle
  • arugula opt. for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F
  • Slice your baguette into thin ½ inch slices you should have about 13 slices.
  • Lay your baguette slices on a lined baking sheet. Then top with a slice of fresh mozorella cheese. Then with a half to ¼ of prosciutto slice.
  • Place baking sheet into preheated oven and baked for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Once done baking let crostinis slightly cool and place on a serving plate. Right before serving drizzle with balsamic glaze.
  • Best enjoyed fresh.
